SQL job to backup and restore database [on hold]

I need to create an MSSQL job that would run nightly and bakup a database and restore the database with a different name. Example NorthDB (Original Database), NorthDB_test (backup database restored). How, would I go bout creating this? Do I need to create a backup device in MSSQL in order to do this?
