We have a database on our network that uses SQL Anywhere 10 with and ODBC connector as a database for customer and product information. Our intention is to sync this database with a newly created MYSQL database. I'm fairly new to working with databases, and am having an incredibly difficult time finding clear documentation on how to accomplish this.
I've installed the ODBC connector for MYSQL, but am a little lost on how to proceed. It seems as if this connector is intended for creating a database in MYSQL that has an ODBC connector itself, not necessarily on connecting with a remote ODBC connected DB.
If anyone has any information or can indicate a clear direction (or even a great place to start) it would be really helpful.
