I am creating a copy of Database A, restoring as database b, executing a job on database b. Upon successful execution, I would like to delete the database A and rename the database B to what the database A was originally named as. There are two ways I can pursue this. Delete Database A, rename Database B to A. OR Backup Database B after job execution, restore Database B as database A.
Please let me know if either way has any drawbacks.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
