Why does the SQL 2012 SA account always show up with creation date of 4/8/2003?

Why does the SQL 2012 SA account always show up with creation date of 4/8/2003?

I am not sure why this is happening and if this is something that needs to be resolved. I noticed that on several of my new SQL 2012 VM implementations that the SA account is showing that it was created on 4/8/2003.

When I create a new SQL account or AD account the date is correct as when I created it. Has any one else noticed this? Could this cause some type of issue?
