Ubuntu: how to properly upgrade Postgres 9.3.x OpenSCG

I have a Ubuntu Server 14.04 with Postgres 9.3.4 installed. The Postgres instalation was made using OpenSCG packages (not using apt-get).

Now I want to upgrade Postgres to the most recent version (9.3.6) and I want to know how is the proper way of doing it.
