SQL Query for Same last 7 days last year

I am currently running a SQL data query for the last 7 days, however I want to run a comparative SQL data query for the same 7 days last year (plus one day to mirror this week, Friday - Thursday). I don't need year to date, just the same period as last year. I am stuck....
