legal risks (in case of errors and other mistakes..) of creating and publishing a financial database

Can someone help me with regard to the legal risks associated with creation of a financial database (i.e gathering financial information on corporations and banks) and publishing this database. My concerns are what are the risks in case of errors in the database. Is there any legal website on the subject?
