I have a friend involved in a niche businesses who has asked me to develop a database for her. I would like to market this to other similar businesses. I have considered a few structures including MS Access and a LAMP web app. I will likely land on a web app using PHP and MySQL.
Assuming I go with a web app, would it make more sense to create a single database with a CLIENT table and use the client PK to distinguish data in each table or create a new database for each of my clients?
