Best way for storing multiple account record every day

I need to store data from multiple accounts. About 500 record that are generated every day.

Does it payoff to have a table with just the dates, and on the table with the records have it referenced as a foreign key?

I am asking this because, for-each of those 500 records I can have multiple sub records and I want to implement it on the best possible way for future querying.
