We are considering moving some of our database services to Azure but due to the kind of agreements we have with our customers having strict control over who can access the data is required.
Based on the security white papers it is unclear to me who can access the data stored on a Azure VM and attached disks? For example, if I create a SQL Server VM from the gallery and attach a 1TB disk (E:) can an employee of Microsoft access and read data from the VM or disk?
